Teddy Bears are now helping children in East Kent.
The scheme was brought to East Kent in March 2005, when W Bro John Keeley, of Monkton Lodge No 9236, handed over the first consignment of Teddies to the A & E Departments at Maidstone, Margate and Ashford Hospitals. Plans are also underway to get them into Medway Maritime Hospita

They have been so well received that they are now on their second consignments. The launch of the TLC Teddies Appeal in East Kent has resulted in a positive response from both hospital staff and the public.
Each teddy carries a tag “Donated by Local Freemasons”, which provides continuous evidence of the principles of Freemasonry in the community.
