TLC Appeal donates 10,000 Teddy Bears to A&E Units in first year.
The TLC in East Kent Province celebrated their first full year of donating teddies to Accident & Emergency Units and Minor Injury Units, by passing the 10,000 mark. This seems a great achievement since the start of the Appeal in March 2005, but also a sad indictment on just how busy the Units are with children passing through their doors in a distressed state.
The Appeal expects that from figures taken from the first quarter of the second year, that donations will pass the 13,000 mark by March 2007.
